Bullers Wood School For Girls

Careers Information for Students

At Bullers Wood School, your engagement with careers related learning is very important to us. Please note that each student will have the opportunity for a personalised one-to-one careers interview with Kirsty Taylor, our Independent Careers Guidance Advisor. This will allow you to explore the full spectrum of post-16 pathways. Students will also benefit from employer interactions through assemblies and Careers Week events.

If you wish to book a meeting with our Careers advisor, please contact the Careers and Work-Related Learning Co-ordinator at lrichardson@bwsgirls.org

During your time at Bullers Wood School, you will have the chance to meet industry professionals and learn about different careers through a vast range of activities that we provide.

In line with the Gatsby Benchmarks, at Bullers we offer the following to each year groups:

  • Careers Fair (Year 10, 11, 12 and 13)
  • Careers Day (Year 9)
  • Life After Bullers (Year 11 & 12)

We endeavour to combine our students’ formal education with a personalised, independent, and informed career guidance, which will enable them to embark on their future with the skills to build upon their career pathways. Hence, we strive to incorporate several talks and workshops for students throughout the year.
